Are We Talking About Ferguson or Milwaukee?

I just listened to Eugene Robinson on the #MorningJoe describe #Ferguson citizens as being a community that has been left behind.  While many African Americans have been able to successfully make their way into a middle class lifestyle from the civil rights movement, a sizeable portion of Ferguson has not.  Due to the education system and a diminishing blue-collar work force, individuals are not able to climb the social ladder. They have more access to doing poorly than they have to doing well.  These are excellent points but the whole time he was talking, I couldn’t help but to ask myself…  is he talking about #Milwaukee?  Ferguson is a national problem and it is time for those of us in socioeconomically oppressed communities at the local level, such as Milwaukee, to step up and take action!
