Empowerment Starts Here with the host, Angela Dye (cick here to listen to the episode).

After running two schools, one that I birthed and another that I inherited, I could clearly see some unknown barriers associated with teacher performance (as relating to marginalized learners). Teachers were coming to the table with the scientific knowledge that makes an empowerment practice possible. But, there was some kind of blockage that kept resurfacing between what teachers knew from training and what they did in practice.
In this episode, I talk about student power as the blockage and the scientific process that helped me to discover what it really means as relating to my commitment to student empowerment.

Mistakes/Corrections:
I gave the wrong episode number for The Case of Hating High School. It is Episode 06 (and not Episode 05 as I said).
I also gave the wrong episode number for The Case of the Black Female Educator. It is Episode 27 (and not Episode 28 as I said).
Something happened to the recording toward the end of the episode. Not sure why it happened but the volume dropped.
Please feel free to let me if you catch any more mistakes. Thanks!!
